I H B Shipping Co EAD will strive to promote and protect the environment by ensuring safe operation and navigation standards on board the vessels. Compliance with our Environmental Management system demonstrates sound environmental practices by controlling the shipboard activities in order to eliminate the adverse impact of the environment from sources of possible pollutants.

Our objectives are to maintain and improve the quality of our services through the execution of safe, environmentally sound and economical ship operations. The same is facilitated by best-in-business quality assurance tools.

I H B Shipping Safety and Quality Management System is LR certified. This includes environmental management, creating a combined health, safety, environmental and quality management system.
Today the system is based on the ISM code, ISPS code, ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004

Working Environment
We appreciate that the quality of our services depends to a great extend on the performance of each individual employee. To maintain good working environment, I H B Shipping CO EAD prioritises the training, development and motivation of our personnel.
We believe that a strong focus on the working environment will have a preventive effect on undesired events and sick leave.
